Well, I hit the jackpot a couple of weeks ago. A good friend of my grandmother was cleaning out her attic when she came across this:

Knowing of my interest in the Titanic, she was more than happy to give it to me. The book was published the year of the disaster, and written by Marshall Everett (a pseudonym; the real author's name was Henry Neill I believe). The word "Memorial Edition" is inscribed on the bottom right hand corner, and above the book's title is emblazoned "Nearer My God To Thee", a reference to the hymm some survivors claim was played by the Titanic's orchestra as the liner's bow dipped under.

The article on the left was from the Niagara Falls Review, and dated July 21st, 1986. It details finds made during Dr. Robert Ballard's second expedition to the Titanic wrecksite. The article on the right was originally from the Perth (Ontario) Courier, dated April 13th, 1972. It contains a poem written by Robert H. Vaughan, a waiter who served aboard the RMS Carpathia, the Cunard liner that achieved everlasting fame for her rescue of the Titanic's survivors.
